Ellen is from the port of Los Angeles and has called the Bay Area home for 10 years since moving here for university. She has been practicing yoga for many years and studied it in India during post-grad travels. She has a love for human connection, and after working as an educator at an international high school in Oakland for a few years, she decided to become a therapist and is currently studying Integral counseling and psychology at CIIS, and living in west Berkeley. She loves movement and self-expression and appreciates gathering with good people in small and large settings to share food, dance, jokes, and sincere conversation.
